tile-aerospaceDescription - The aerospace cluster heritage traces its origins to the nation’s first civilian aeronautics lab (present day NASA Langley Research Center) where the original seven astronauts trained. NASA Langley’s mission includes a large propensity for broad research and applications span the areas of aeronautics, atmospheric science and space launch.  Specialized areas include aerodynamics, structures & materials, avionics, air traffic management, systems analysis, remote and in-situ sensing, and modeling and simulation (M&S).
